Happy National Story Telling Day

What a wonderful day for scrappers!

Above is a picture of Charolette's Granddaughter (cow at top of my page). It is kind of cool to have three generations hanging out, though Charolette is getting pretty old these days, so we aren't sure how long she will be around. Ds took the picture - her name is Horn head (I know - gotta watch when letting kids name cows - LOL). She had an entire photo shoot. It is amazing how many pictures of animals we have.

If you remember back in January, we had our first lamb join our farm. Above is Jiggles a few days ago (all animals got their own photo shoots that day). Baby Jiggles is now almost 4 months old and has been growing very quickly. She is a cross between Rambolue and Dorper breed of sheep.

Our first purbred Jacobs lambs were born last week. They will have their pictures posted soon.

Above is a picture of an album I made for ds to put his animal pictures into as he wishes. You can see all the steps and details at Scrapbookingfun.biz - (link is above at the right) under Great Projects in the Crafty Corner section, then go to Chipboard Album.

National Pigs in a Blanket Day

Wow - lunch is solved again! (sort of, no crescent rolls on hand, so it will be homemade biscuits wrapped around those little piggies)

Had a great time at the retreat - many, many topics were discussed and many laughs were to be had! Thanks so much to everyone for a wonderful, relaxing time. Can't wait for next year!

I completed 57 layouts while gone and love that the ones I finished were difficult ones. Not their final layouts as much as just ones that kept getting put aside to do more fun things! I will add some pics later (I am at the wrong computer to do so right now - boy I need to get the network up and running)

Well - have a great day!

"'Don't be afraid,' the prophet answered. 'Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, 'O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.'" II Kings 6:16-17a (NIV)

A completed layout!

Finally! I have been doing so many other things lately that I have layouts in many stages of completion - finally one is done and ready to go into an album!

The layout is one that I really have struggled with for years! I have had everything sorted and ready to go, just absolutely no inspiration. I posted I needed help over on the Scrapping Fun board and got some terrific suggestions - thanks ladies!

Not what I envisioned, but I do like how it turned out. I have the dot for the question mark to glue back on, but I am so glad this one is done.

Wonderful Giveaway

If you are interested in a Cuttlebug - check out

http://keepsakesbymelissa.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-big-giveaway.html

She has a great giveaway going on - looks like she does some beautiful work!

Today looks overcast, though I am hoping to complete my hot air balloon layout. If I do, I will get it posted!

One question - I am thinking about starting an on-line Bible Study/Faithbooking group - let me know (post a comment or email me at Scraprageous@gmail.com) if you would be interested. It may be hosted over at Scrapbooking fun (link to right) if enough people are interested. Thanks!

Happy No Housework Day!

Loving this one - wish I had read it before starting laundry :P

This is a pic of my first altered paperclips! (Ok, tried once before and it was a bust, so this is the first one that turned out right!)

I have a make and take listed over at Scrapbooking fun. My supplies are limited and standard make and take rules apply (basically, free shipping is only in US, outside USA, we ask you to pay for shipping), but feel free to visit the site and sign up.

Have a great Housework Free day! PS - don't forget - week 2 of the 5 ingredient recipe challenge starts today!! Congrats to Mommamix who won last weeks contest. Her cake sounds like it will be delicious!

National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day!

Alright - a holiday I can get into - especially with youngest! His favorite has always been smooth peanut butter with grape jelly on white bread or flour tortillas. I know what lunch will be :)

I need to take some more pics of the album I am working on, but that will be later this afternoon. Right now I need to do some reading about the MACHE convention - I can't make it today, but plan to be there on Friday.

Have a great National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day!

Welcome to April!!!

We started with several inches of snow, though most has melted already.

I was inspired to create a book from the Cricut Chirp Newsletter 3/31/2009. There was a beautiful album created (Kim someone, I cannot find the paper right now). Anyway - she did a wonderful job and I decided something similar could be created.

Biggest change - mine is for animals, not humans :) I have a lot left to complete, however, it has been cut out, papers selected and put into location and basics completed. Here is one picture:

You can see what I did, step by step here:
